Adam Wyse


Adam Wyse holds a M.S. in applied statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and B.A. in Mathematics (with a focus on secondary education) from St. John Fisher College. Currently, Adam is the John A. Hannah Research Fellow and a psychometric researcher with the Michigan Department of Education. As the John A. Hannah Research Fellow, he has coauthored several presentations and papers investigating the impact of educational policy on student achievement and expectations. Adam’s psychometric work has helped to developed new psychometric models for evaluating large scale assessment instruments and equating results. He has coauthored several papers with Dr. Joseph Martineau resulting from this work. His research interests include the application of statistical and econometric methods to large scale datasets, item response theory, equating, test design and assembly, psychometrics, and educational policy and accountability.
